Since joining Carter Jonas, I have been involved in a wide range of valuation work including retail, industrial, office, development and residential properties. Within the team there is a lot of support from my manager, APC counsellor and supervisor and also fellow graduates. Alongside this Carter Jonas have provided CPD events such as APC away days and divisional days.
Planning & Development
From day one I have been involved in delivering really interesting projects for our clients from planning policy assessments and site appraisals to pre-application enquiries and submission of planning applications. I have been given a real sense of responsibility but at the same time have a strong and friendly team around me who provide support and guidance. I have also been able to transfer knowledge learnt during my Masters into the job.
Since joining Carter Jonas I have been heavily involved in a wide range of exciting and stimulating projects. These have given me the opportunity to explore multiple aspects of the commercial team including valuations, development appraisals, rent reviews and lease renewals. I’m part of a friendly team that are keen to pass on their knowledge to improve my skills as a new surveyor.
I have gained a variety of expertise from working within the Carter Jonas infrastructures team. Areas of work I am involved in include valuation, compulsory purchase and compensation, landlord and tenant work for the telecommunications sector and third party land access negotiations. My team are friendly and approachable with considerable knowledge of their sector.
